Marine, founder of Nicosia, is building her dream company, inspired by the love for footwear she shared with her grandmother. With both comfort and personalisation in mind, she contacted me for the design and 3D modeling of the shoe, aimed for industrial production. In order to limit costs of production, especially for the prototype, the sole and top part of the shoe were dissociated to be put together with a lace by the user. This innovation brings playful customisation possibilities to the user experience as well as sustainable durability when it comes to replacing used parts of the shoe.
