Aquaponics is one of the most sustainable agricutlural processes today. This technique consists in a combination of hydroponics (plant cultivation in water mediums) and aquaculture (cultivation of aquatic organisms such as fish). Fish release nutrients for plants, which in turn clean the water. A symbiotic system from which fresh, made in Barcelona, negative carbon footprint greens are harvested and sold through a home delivery service (Frutal).
The characteristics mentionned above make these plants special, and should therefore be clear to consumers. These labels were designed in close relationship with the client and focused on the communication of the innovative, ecological and local character of these plants, in line with the company's established visual language.
